I was big on the Knot back before the Nest even existed but then I dropped off due to mean posters (yes, I'm sensitive). But I'm here to give the site a second shot and meet people who are getting ready to TTC. Me? I'm going to start TTC in October which seems far away but I know it will be here sooner than I know it.

    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Ok ladies, I'm a newbie too.  Trying to figure out the message boards and all the abbreviations.  Is there anywhere that has all the abbreviations listed?  I've been looking for that.  Some of them I have been able to figure out from context.  Also, how the heck do I add my ticker to my posts?!

    There's a glossary of abbreviations link at the top of the New to the Bump page - under the FAQ link.  It doesn't have all of them, but it's got a lot.  Enough to get you started. 

    As for a ticker, no idea, but there is a Tech FAQ also at the top of the page.  Maybe that will help?

    I just posted an honest question on another board, but I got quite a few rude answers amongst the helpful ones.  I've read a lot of posts here, but I must have missed the one where it said rudeness and insensitivity were fair game.  I don't think you were probably too sensitive on your first go-round; I've noticed a lot of rude people who post here.  I'm not quite sure I understand why.  I hope you have better luck than I seem to have had.  I was even called overly-sensitive and woe-is-me on another post when frankly I don't think it was deserved.

    Yea that happened to me too on my first go round. Even got made fun of for the way my OH proposed. Oh well. To each his own.
