First Time Daddy! Supportive Tips?

This is my DH Kyle's first baby, and he has been such an amazing support and partner through my pregnancy! I just want to show him the same consideration once baby Kiya arrives...

We're due April 9th and I'm plannin on taking maternity leave for 1-2 months all things considered regarding her well being and health.

Any wise words or experiences to share besides the basic fundamentals of course, that could accomedate my intention to be there for him as well through this new adventure? :)

  • Make sure you guys are on the same page about responsibilities.  Will you take turns getting up through the night, who will cook, who will clean up, who will be responsible for putting the older kids to bed, supervising homework, etc...  Have a plan, and then keep the communication going once baby arrives.

There is definitely an adjustment period.  Go armed into the fight!

Thank you! I appreciate that advice as we do have two other kiddos to worry about, and I think you're right :)
