Glyburide users?

Hey, all! I looked over some of the past posts, but haven't really seen an answer to my question. I was just put on glyburide for my GD...I'm supposed to take 2.5mg/2x a day. I forgot to ask the OB what the best times to take it is. I plan on asking the pharmacist when I pick up my prescription later, just thought some of you would have insight, as well. Thanks!

    I am trying to control all of my numbers. They're all slightly elevated. Not over the top, usually in 130's after I eat, and 90 to 100 for fasting. But, high nonetheless.

    Since you are trying to control all of them, my guess is they will tell you ever 12 hours.  I would probably take one at bedtime snack and the next 12 hours later.  Good luck!

    Thanks, everyone! I spoke to the pharmacist who told me every 12hrs, and to do breakfast and dinner. That makes sense, as I'm a relatively early riser. I appreciate your feedback!

    I was told mine is taken 12h apart. I take one in the am before breakfast around 730 and then my evening is at 730pm. I asked about it and tehy said it doesnt matter if I ate dinner or was in the middle of it or whatever but that the pill should be 12h apart. GL!
