2nd pregnancy announcement ideas...

"UO" post got me thinking about this & i know there are plenty of ideas on pinterest, just curious here. i thought using DS as part of the announcement was cute, but looking for other ideas. we have a little while as we are more cautiously optimistic this time around for some reason than w/ DS. TIA

    I hope my UO didn't make you change your mind!  It's unpopular for a reason - most people love using siblings as part of the announcement!

    What kind of announcement are you thinking?  I mean, for FB or to send/show to friends and family or what?

    BFP #2: January 30 ,2011 Born: September 29, 2011

    BFP #3: January 5, 2013 Born: August 25, 2013

    If there's a holiday nearby, you can incorporate that.  Maybe wait until Valentine's Day and do something with this being your last year of DS being your only Valentine... or your heart doubling next year, blah blah. 

    We waited until out of first tri which coincided with Christmas Day.  So on Christmas Eve I posted a pic of our fireplace mantel with 4 stockings instead of 3.  Each had our names on it and then the fourth said "Baby LastName."

    We did the big brother T-shirt route when announcing I was PG with Audrey.  Oliver wore it at Christmas it took about 30 minutes before someone actually read his T-shirt.  Oliver was 4 years old so it was a big change in his life and I think letting him spill the beans made him feel important.

    Lurker here.... but my brother just announced their second one with a picture of him, then his son then his wife standing against a wall with space between them and then they photoshopped the picture with plus signs between them and had =4

    So...... person + person + person = 4 if that makes sense.

    I have a big sister shirt for E that I scored a long time ago at Old Navy for $2.

    I'll probably just put it on her and wait til people notice.

    I think it's cute when the older sibling is involved, it is a huge change for them and they should be a part of it. As for the announcement, I saw a modern family type picture. Where the parents are holding a framed picture of there children, in that picture the kids are holding a framed picture of the ultrasound picture! I thought it was so cute!

    I can't upload a picture on my iPhone, but we put DS in a ones that I had written "only child status exp. date aug/sep 2013." Took SIL a matter of minutes to see it and scream. Freaked DS out. Took MIL/FIL a little longer
