Rejecting Solids

I feel like I've ruined my son. The first time I fed him solids he threw up. That was when he was 7 months. He never progressed to eat anything else more solid except Gerber puffs. Well he's over a year old now and he still won't eat anything except a few select baby foods and puffs. Everyday I try to get him to eat different things and he won't budge!

    So he only drinks milk or formula? What does your pedi think about this? After he threw up did you just stop offering him solids? Because we had some gagging incidents, but kept offering different foods and eventually it went away.

    He's doing very well with whole milk and I'm still breastfeeding too. So he basically just drinks and snacks. Unless I make him eat a jar of baby food. I did get him to try a cheeseit today. My pedi said he's just picky and it'll take time. I feel like I'm failing though. He's still healthy. In the 75 for height and weight. It just really bothers me and my family and friends sort of make a big deal about it.
