Yet another CS paid through the state question

XH and I finalized our divorce on 1/8. On that day I filed for state managed CS through the DOR. Per their direction, XH has been sending the weekly payments to them with the stubs they provided while his payroll witholding gets set up. He has send two since 1/8. Neither one of them has been deposited yet.

I know it can take time to have the witholding set up through the payroll company, but I find it odd that the checks haven't been cashed/deposited yet. I'm concerned that somewhere along the way things have gotten mixed up or not set up properly and I'd like to get it squared away asap.

Have any of you experienced this type of issue? I'd rather not escalate to my attorney and I don't have a reference number to use to call the DOR.

    I had major problems when I moved child support administration to the state. They got it all f ed up very badly and the people on the phone were no help. Thankfully I was out on maternity leave so I went to the child support office in person. What a difference!! They helped me so much. If I were you I'd go down there w all your paperwork. That would be the easiest way to get it sorted out.

    Eta my attny would not get involved even if I wanted him to at that point. He told me I had to work it out w the agency.

    Ours automatically goes through the state. When DH has changed jobs it's taken a good month or more for the changes to make it to BM.

    My first payment was recieved via check in the mail. It could be that she hasn't recieved a payment through direct deposite because the first goes in the mail. After that it takes about a month to recieve the info to set up payments via a prepaid card or direct deposite. Once that is set up as long as payments are made she should get regular payments within 3 days after YH has paid.

    As for YH end if he is getting CS taken from his checks and that has recently began depending on the employer it can take several months for that to be set up or the employer may make a payment of a lump sum to the agency once a month(which could be received by the middle of the next month, so his employer takes a lump sum of the total paychecks for the month of December they send that to the agency by the first Friday in January BM doesn' receive payment until the second week in Jan...if that makes sence)
