Hello, ladies! So it wasn't until I noticed all of the intro posts that I realized I had slipped in the backdoor of this group! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself - clearly the fact that I'm impulsive goes without saying. :-P
I'm 30 years old, DH is 38. No problems from DH. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 years old and never understood the implications until this wonderful process began. I was very nervous about having children until DH and I arrived home from a vacation only to find out I was pregnant. I was on birth control at the time but had forgotten my pills at home, but since my doctors had always told me I'd have "problems getting pregnant" I never imagined I'd find a BFP.
After the initial shock, I was able to feel excitement about the fact that I was going to be a mother and became the most well researched woman EVER. I wanted to know all there was to know about pregnancy and being healthy. If only I knew I would miscarry 3 weeks later, perhaps I wouldn't have been so excited. Maybe I would have been the cautious and guarded girl I was when I found out about my second unsuccessful pregnancy 16 months of trying later.
So here I am, looking for support and a community who can understand the scary roller coaster that is IF. My RE has graduated me from the "trying to conceive at home" group - my first IUI will God willing happen on Tuesday if my Monday scan shows some eggs! I hope to show as much support as I receive. Vote for me ;-)
