Oh' Happy Day!!!!  Took my last shot of lupron this morning!!  I feel like I was on that FOREVERRRRRRRRRR!!!  Hoping now I can sleep through the night!

Tomorrow starts PIO, as much as I hate it, I'm happy that I'm moving forward!!

What are you most looking forward to kicking (besides IF)?

Me- 32, DH- 32- TTC for 4 Years
IUIs 1-6 BFN
IVF #1= BFP- M/C
FET- Beta#1: 69, #2: 482, #3: 1088, #4: 28,318, Ultrasound- 1 beautiful heartbeat

  • Starting and kicking PIO, they give me the heebeejeebies, I possibly start them next Wednesday.

    I remember feeling like that with our fresh cycle and then looking forward to monitoring appointments so I knew it was working.

    PIO is good for me until like day 5/6 and then I get goose-egg sized lumps.  It's attractive. ;)

  • I'm sorry that I put that fear in ya.  I just deal with it because it'll hopefully be worth it. My reaction isn't to the actual shot...it's the medication my body hates it.  Some people have ZERO issues.

    Our nurse warned about the PIO lumps too. She said do the shots first thing in the morning and that will help a bit.
