A match!!!

We got the phone call today that the EM that we've been talking to for the last few weeks wants us to parent her baby! She is due in May. I'm having a hard time getting too excited because I know a lot can change between now and then, but for now... I'm going to say something I've wanted to say for almost 7 years - I'm going to be a mom soon.

    Application approved Dec '11
    Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
    After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
    Homestudy complete July 19
    USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!

    I have followed your story for awhile I know you have had a lot of disappointments the past few months...CONGRATS!!!!
