I just had to share what DH said to me yesterday. I had my appointment and the baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead for the 2nd appointment in a row. I know that it doesn't really mean much because measurements can be off.
However, he doesn?t get it. Anyways, we were having dinner and he all of a sudden says can you please not have the baby on superbowl Sunday? Saturday is ok maybe even Sunday early morning but please don?t tell me your water broke or you are having contractions during kick off. I told him I probably won?t considering I will only be 35 weeks (37 if you go by dr?s measurements) but we did have a little scare Saturday so that is probably why he is thinking all of this too. So apparently Im supposed to 'hold the baby in' if I do go into labor oh geeze...haha. Anyways, I just had to share J.
Re: Oh the things DH's say
They just don't get it sometimes
My husband asked me if I could have the baby on March 20th so that he could be off work for the "good" March madness games. Sometimes I just want to reply, "sure babe, and is there a time that works best for you that day so I can make the reservation?!"
my DH said something similar. we are going away this weekend with friends (one of the other wives is prego too) and he said "can you please not go into labor while im on the slopes?"
i said ill try to keep your daughter in place until youre done on the black diamonds.
they are something else sometimes. forget kids - men say the darnedst things!
My sister specifically requested that I NOT have the baby on Feb. 23 or March 5....cause ya know....than one of her children would have to share a birthday with their cousin.
It took every ounce of self-control not to roll my eyes at her. I told her I would see what I could do. While I was THINKING--Sorry that I didn't time my 'surprise' pregnancy so that it was less of a threat to the sacred birthdays of her two children. (I think my nieces would be thrilled if their baby cousin was born on their birthday!)

My aunt said the same thing. I'm due March 26 and her son's birthday is the 29. I also have another aunt whose birthday is the 30th. My first aunt believes everyone should have their own birthday. She had planned c-sections so she could plan when her son was born. I on the other hand am not going to plan a c-section for her convenience. She wasn't pleased with my reply. My cousin is the easiest going person ever so I'm pretty sure he won't care lol.
