Post sex question

Ok, i need to know if im the only one with this problem or not.....

After sex my bones down there are in the worst kind of pain. It feels like they are being ripped apart or something. And the pain lasts for hours! It hurts to stand, it hurts to pee and i dont even want to think about trying to go 2!!! The only time ot doesnt hurt is if im just sitting.

Anyone else have this problem???

  • No, bc I'd have to have sex to have that issue! Lol

  • You aren't the only one but I honestly don't know what causes it.

I made the mistake of going to the grocery store right after the other day. I was ready to die when I got home!

  • I asked my midwife about this one. She said it's perfectly normal. They are actually contractions. She said this is why sex is recommended in later pregnancy, it will help induce labor when your body is ready.

  • With DD1 I had crazy contractions after and the O wasn't enough to deal with the hours of discomfort after. Now this time around is different. I have the libido of a teenage boy and want it all the time! But that just started the last couple of weeks ;0)

  • I have had the same experience. We've switched over to other activities that are still pleasureable for both of us instead of intercourse which leaves me in pain! DH still misses the actual deed, but he doesn't want to hurt me either.

  • I haven't really "enjoyed" sex for a while now - but know that my poor hubby has needs too :) lol I've found that the most comfortable position is spooning.. If, on the off chance I'm feeling up to it, after the O I have contractions on and off for a couple hours. From everything I've read and what doc says, it's completely normal. I would definitely give the spooning position a try if you haven't already. I have almost no pain afterwards (I don't really get pleasured by it, but I'm happier knowing that DH is satisfiedSmile )
  • Oh my god, I'm so glad you wrote about this topic. I have had this discomfort since I was in my 2nd trimester. The pain was so bad I feel like I can't even walk. I haven't had sex in weeks and weeks now because of it, but now at almost 35 weeks, when I sit for a long period of time and stand up I have been noticing the same pain. Sucks! Good luck to you!
