Mobile: I'm becoming the Bag Lady!
So... now that I'm back at work and I drop off LO every day at daycare, I feel like I'm becoming a Bag Lady. Here are all the bags I bring with me each day, and I need some way to not feel like such a frazzled mess (I'm sure I look messy too!)... any advice?
Purse: wallet, phone, keys, calendar book, headphones, etc.
Diaper Bag: diapers, wipes, changing pad, burp cloths, change of clothes (this is in case I make any stops on my way home from picking up LO and need to change her while we're out)
Daycare Bag: Bag that I leave at daycare with LO--has her bottles and anything that they need us to bring for the day--if they run out of diapers, wipes, changes of clothes for her, etc.
Pump: I have the Medela Pump-In-Style which comes in a backpack, but all that really fits in there is the little cooler bag with the bottles I pump into and the ice pack, and the pump parts.
Lunch Bag: Now that I'm working 7:30-3:30 without a lunch break (I normally work 8-5 with a lunch break but my boss is letting me have a slightly altered schedule), I have to bring my breakfast and my lunch with me to work to eat at my desk.
So... those of you who are working and drop LO off at daycare and run errands, and pump, how do you consolidate your bags to make sure you don't look like a Bag Lady?!?!
Re: I'm becoming the Bag Lady!
I am with you on being a bag lady.
I only take my diaper bag to daycare. I just combine everything in that one bag and have designated "daycare" pockets where my provider knows to look for anything she needs. I also use a carabiner to attach my bottle bag to my diaper bag.
I also got a large tote that I throw my work items, lunch and purse in. That way I only have to haul 3 bags to the car (tote, diaper bag and pump).
I still make two trips to the car in the morning because I can't carry everything AND DS.
This is what I do. Since its just for emergency stops I keep a few diapers, some travel size wipes and ointment. An extra blanket, and one extra ugly outfit
