PP cycle question TMI warning

So I am pumping regularly to feed my girls, I don't know if it matters, but they are about 60 breast milk and 40 high calorie formula. I had the Implanon put in about two weeks ago for bc, until I can go back and have my tubes tied. It was my understanding, and my experience, that typically you don't get your period again pp while breast feeding. Mine didn't come back with either DS or DD1 until they weaned. But mam oh man is it back now! I squatted down to pick Avery up from her rnp and had a gush that rivaled my pp bleeding! Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like such a dork calling my OB to complain that I got my period. My thought is that it returned b/c of the Implanon... I was so looking forward to a few more non af months!

    I got my period at month 4, while I was still EBF, then again at month 6 and 7.   The bleeding was regular, though.

    I got my period at 10 weeks pp while pumping 8 to 10 times daily and still trying to BF directly. I got it again at 14 weeks pp, while still pumping 6 to 8 times daily.

    Oh, and my first period was worse than my pp bleeding and all of my miscarriages. I also had the worst cramps of my life.

    s0ulchicken- I am just like oyu I had the mirena out in nd 2 days late Af started and it is now Thursday a week later and it is still just as bad as last week. Also it is so much worse than my PP recovery bleeding. I hope this isn't how all of the months willbe. I am EBF and pumping since I returned to work last week.
