Trial today

It's been a long time since I've visited this board but I need a distraction today.

Owl and Apple's bio mom has trial today to see if her petition for reunification services should be accepted or if TPR will finally be granted. I haven't heard from the SW yet and she hasn't answered her phone so I'm assuming the trial is still in progress. Ack, I'm so nervous!

    Last night included a lot of tossing and turning...

    Yes, we are hoping for TPR. We've had the girls for over a year now and while mom has shown up for every visit, she doesn't show a ton of interest. She has no interest at all in Apple and doesn't understand the extent of trauma and delays that Owl is faced with. She isn't a bad person, she just isn't capable of being a good parent, especially to Owl who needs more help than she can provide.

    Thank you, this is what I pray for each night, the best outcome for the girls. I know what I want but realize that I may not be a part of the plan for them beyond the role I have now.
