This may be a really stupid question or may sound strange but... What do you use to measure milk? When I measure 5 oz using the small Medela storage containers, 2 of them because they are 2.5 oz each, it is only a little over 4 oz if I pour that milk into a glass measuring cup. I use Playtex drop ins and have never used the bottle to measure because it's definitely not accurate. How do you measure?

We use playtex dropins, which are definitely not accurate. I used my Medela measuring/storage bottle as my constant or control measurement and poured 4 oz into the playtex dropins and it measured at 4.5. Same with 2 oz. So when I make N's 6 oz bottles, I pour my mixed formula up to the 6.5oz line.
Since I know it's .5oz off, I also subtract that from whatever is left in the bottle. If there's 3.5 left, I say it's 3 and know she had 3 oz. Silly, but I'm used to it now.
