Any of you with 2 (or more) have a double stroller? Do you recommend it?

I'm in the market for one, but I really don't want to spend tons. Some recs I've gotten are for strollers that are $4-500! It would be a plus if my Graco Snugride carseat would fit it.

I think, if you're on a budget, it's best to check Craigslist, garage sales, etc. You can find some nice stuff! Or, those sit and stand strollers are a little less pricy. Good luck!

We tested tons of strollers at different stores and we liked this one and the price.

We got it last summer when DD1 was 2 and DD2 was 1 and we needed it for vacation. It's not too heavy and very easy to fold and open.

We still use the stroller for the mall and the zoo and things like that. It's nice, too, that DD2 can sit in the back with no problems if DD1 wants to be silly and sit in the front.

I'd definitely recommend this stroller to anyone. We love it.

(An added plus is that it's a good height for me, which is hard to find in a stroller. I'm 6'2.)

I wanted to add that we were also looking at the Joovy Caboose but ultimately decided against it for a few reasons. I can't remember all of the reasons, but one of them was that the Graco had the parent tray and if you want one for the Joovy, you had to purchase it separately.

We also couldn't find one in a store to test out.

We got a Baby Trend double jogging stroller. DS1 is not the biggest fan of strollers so I didn't want to pay a lot if he may not ride in it for long. I found it used (but in GREAT condition) for $70 on a yardsale site.

I was just at Munckins Closet yesturday in Medina (right by where the old Kmart used to be) and they had a sit and stand there for 50.00!

It looked brand new!

City Mini Double Stroller is a hit among all my friends with 2. I have seen them on CL a few times.

Also, I don't even know if this is possible but that trade-in event is going on at BRU thru early Feb... maybe you could trade your single in for a double?

I actually thought about the trade-in. I may take that into consideration. I have a swing I could even trade in for the 25%off.

I just spent $180 on the Contours Options LT tandem double stroller. It retails for about $269 (still tons cheaper than many other decent doubles I've seen) but it was on sale on amazon, plus they had an awesome Amazon Moms deal! It only weighs 33lbs which is really light for a double, and both seats snap in and out in all different directions. Super excited about it!
