Hi Ladies,
I'm sorry I don't post here often since the birth of my rainbow, but know I still think of you all often and must admit I've become one of the lurkers upping the post views. I just wanted to share what I've been up to for my angel, I'm so excited and though it might inspire some new loss mommies. Last year we walked in the March of Dimes walk in Peyton's memory, we raised over $10,000 and I can't even tell you the kind of healing we felt being able to do that for him. This year I know we won't raise as much with just donations because the loss isn't as fresh and to people other than his parents time has moved on. So I decided to go above and beyond and try to raise as much as possible. I'm making a facebook page for our team and I'm organizing and online auction. It's pretty awesome to see people stepping up to donate goodies or services that I can auction off. I don't expect to raise as much as last year, but I hope it's still enough to make our angel proud. I remember I learned about the March for Babies walk on here last year, and just wanted to suggest it some new loss moms who need an outlet for their grief. I think in most parts of the country they start in spring, the one I'm doing is in April. If you just go to the March of Dimes website and look at the March for Babies link you can find one near you. It just feels wonderful to get to mother my angel in such a tangible way.
Big hugs to you all, I hope you don't mind me still posting here with my rainbow in my siggy. If it's too much, I won't post again.

Re: AW working for my angel **ticker and siggy warning**
That is so awesome what you did last year and what you're planning on doing this year. We did the March of Dimes last year too and I was surprised at how generous people were but thinking it won't be nearly the same this year. We just found out when our walk is and I'm really excited!
I can't believe Raylan is 3 months old already! What a cutie! Personally, I don't mind you posting here in the slightest but I also know that I'm further out than a lot of the currently active members here.
It was great to hear from you! {{HUGS}}

I support a good friend who also had a late loss and then her rainbow. Their walk is coming up as well. We have been thinking of doing the one in our area. I wish you luck with your fundraising this year.
And I don't mind you posting with your rainbow either. Like others said, your siggy warning covered it and it gives others like me hope.

This is a really good inspiration. I'm always looking for things to do to honor my LO, and this is a good idea.
I absolutely don't mind your siggy.
