Phantom Baby Kicks?

My baby girl is 9 months old... about two months ago, I started feeling like I had a baby moving around in my uterus again! The first time it happened, I smiled and thought it was cute... then freaked out because I realized I wasn't pregnant anymore, and what the heck was going on?? And yes, I'm definitely NOT pregnant. And it's NOT gas. I thought I was going absolutely crazy and then heard a couple other women talking about this. So weird! Anyone else feeling these strange movements? I wonder if it's a muscle or nerve misfiring?

I still get them all the time. I have that split second where I think it's a baby's kick and then I realize it's not. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I think it's just gas bubbles. It always happens in the same spot down low on the left side of my pelvis. I always felt DS move there but now I wonder if it was just gas there all along. To be honest it makes me very nostalgic and makes me wish just a little that I was pregnant again. Someday I guess!

I haven't had any but I do find myself putting my hand in my tummy to feel them.. LOL

I get them.

I think it is probably one of two things. Either it's gas bubbles, and now we are just overly sensitive to that certain feeling. Or it's just our muscles relearning their atmosphere.

It is an interesting feeling but I wouldn't be to worried about it.

I've had them for quite awhile, too. It doesn't feel like gas, but more like tiny muscle spasms. My body is still readjusting back into some new shape, so it makes sense, but it also makes me wonder how many of those early "kicks" were just muscle spasms. Every now and then I'll get the rib pain though, and I don't have a clue WHAT is causing that!

Yeah, I get them too and have for awhile. It freaked me out too and sometimes it still does.

Yes, I get them. Actually happened the other day and I wondered if it was normal because it's been 9 months. When I feel it it makes me kind of sad though because we probably are not having another.

I felt some the other day, but thought it was probably gas. It felt overwhelmingly real though! I just got my first PP period back and we are already TTC #2 since it will probably take us a while. I really miss those little kicks and jabs!
