Can I bring Lysol type wipes or alcohol wipes in the plastic container or a small plastic travel one on plane in carry on? Id like to wipe down hus hands and seats. Also what about sippy cups? Empty? I can always get water on plane I guess... Juice? Tia
Re: Air travel?
Wipes are fine--I've never had a problem bringing them. You can also bring hand sanitzer under the 3-1-1 rule. You can bring breast milk, formula, juice, and even water if it is for child. This is an exception to the rule. Last time I traveled at security they made me open everything (including one of the squeeze pouches) tested it for explosives and then I was one my way. Took more time, but well worth it in the end.
This- except I haven't been asked to open individual containers of food- just the bag we have them packed in.
Yep this. I have flown with DD many times and we have only had to open the bottles/sippy cups once and all they did was hold a piece of litmus paper over the top of the open bottle/cup. You can have cooler packs for the drinks too.
I've brought Lysol wipes in the small travel package with me on a plane and never had a problem. Once we've boarded I wipe everything down, as well.
As for liquids I've never been questioned when it was for DD. The only time I ran into an issue was because I had a few spoons in my bag and they wanted me to tell them exactly where in my bag it was (after it went through the scanner) but I couldn't touch or point to my bag, I had to describe where they were and what was around them (not exactly the easiest thing to do when I just dropped them in on our way out the door).

Yes, TSA guidelines provide for exceptions to the 3-1-1 rule for juice, water, breastmilk, formula for infants. I found the best way to handle this (so far) is to bring a typical lunch cooler (or bag) and simply inform them earlier on that it's for DS.
