Video Monitors

Totally keep meaning to ask this and then I forget...

Has anyone started looking into video monitors/any BTDT moms... what are my chances of coming across one that has 2 cameras that feed to the same receiver? The goal being to be able to put one in with M and another in our room with baby (for when we aren't in there)... I really don't want to have to buy 2 plus... they're so expensive and our basic analog works fine for M but I do wish I could see her sometimes. Plus being able to see both babies on one monitor would be great... and one I could check on my phone or computer would be sweet to! Anyone come across something like this?

    How did you find out about this? Do you have friends/family that have tried it out? It sounds awesome!

    Yep! Other friends with kids recommended it.

    We also use the mydlink app on our phones and computers for DD1's room and we love it! We picked up this camera on a sale for around $80 and it works great.  We'll be getting a second one for DD2's room.  There are other pricier cameras out there that pan and zoom, but this one is great if you're not looking for a ton of fancy features:

    We're going with the Motorola one, I'm not sure how many cameras can hook up to it though.

    We have the Motorola 3.5" video monitor, MBP36, and love it.  I'll be buying the additional camera for when this LO arrives.  BBB makes a set that comes with two cameras already if you're going to be buying it new.  It was only $20 more than the 1 camera option, and buying the camera separately costs $100... so wish I had seen this option when I was buying in the first place!  Make sure to take your 20% off coupons they send out all the time!

    We have the lorex one linked above as well. It has worked really well for us so far, so we recently ordered a second camera for this LO.

    We have the summer monitor and I love it! Getting a second camera for baby two. It mounts to the wall.. It scans and pans so if your toddler gets out of bed you can see where they go in the room and you can talk through it.. Which is my favorite!

    We have a Summer Infant video monitor and it can be connected to up to 4 cameras.  We are getting a second one so we can have one on C and one on new baby.

    We also have the Summer Infant video monitor and I just bought a second camera.  Unfortunately we couldn't get the new camera and monitor to sync.  After being on hold for 15 minutes with the company they told me that we have the old model and they are not compatible.  We are going to have to buy a whole new camera/monitor system.
