Nat started throwing up tonight. Just when I thought we going to get through this season! For all the moms that just went through this any tips? Besides lining the room with towels.

    Oh no! Poor Nat and you guys! We were lucky and only had two hours of throw up but than unlucky with two days of diarrhea. Just have plenty of changes of clothes ready for the both of you. I think we went through every pair of pjs in one night. Hopefully it doesn't linger too long!

    When DS had it the throwing up lasted one day and then about 3-4days of diarrhea. We cut out everything except for pedialyte for the first 2 days. He was really not interested, he is still on formula so we turned to half strength formula. He drank that much better. It's really just important to try and keep LO hydrated. I was nervous at first because he would only drink 12-15 ozs a day when his normal intake is 24-28 ozs. In time he got back to his norm. Once LO is keeping liquids down you can then try the BRAT diet, DS was on that for about a week. Hope your LO is better soon!

    When Lucia had it we used lots of towels. I just put one on my chest, then she cuddled on top so I didn't have to put her down to change my shirt every time she puked on me.


    She drank only pedialyte, but not much of it. She did like if I put some in the freezer and then fed it to her like a slushy!
