You know what's awesome?

DS most likely has asthma and needs to have a puffer twice a day, in addition to this awesomeness he has extreme sinus congestion and needs a nasal spray twice a day.  He is apparently not sleeping well because he can't breathe.  He is also getting 4 canines right now.

AND to add serious insult with injury, the doctor is pretty sure I have a torn rotator cuff and will need to start physio therapy.

So twice a day I get to try and make a 30lbs bag of angry snakes hold still while I give him drugs that make him scream.  DH can help me with the bedtime doses but he leaves for work at 5:30 AM so I am on my own in the morning.

  • She said it could be a while. If it's actually torn it will need surgery to fix it.  IF it's not (which I am really hoping) then just physio.  She can't do a prognosis until she sees the ultrasound results.

  • Wow. That's a lot to take on.

First of all, I'm glad you were both diagnosed so that you know how to help both of you. Did DS's pedi have any suggestions for making puffer time a little easier on you? Can DD help entertain him during his dose?
