Milestones: B is constantly rolling now, grabbing onto things with both hands and pulling them towards him and he is getting better at napping in his crib.
Challenges: This week has been a very rough teething week. His two lower front teeth are literally just below his gums. I can see them and feel them but they refuse to cut threw and he is so uncomfortable it breaks my heart. Saturday night he woke up several times at night screaming. Thank god for Tylenol and Highlands teething tablets!
Funny Stories: DS loves our dog. Today B was sitting on my lap and the dog came over and was smelling his feet and hands. Every time our dog smelled DS's feet he would laugh hysterically and start kicking.
GTKY: I'd have to say one of my favorite movies is Grease. As a kid my dad and I would turn up the songs really loud and sing them. Clearly I didn't fully understand alot of the content at 11 or 12 years old but I loved the music anyway.

Hi ladies! Both of my boys started laughing and smiling recently. It absolutely melts my heart and does a lot to heal the parts of my soul that are still tender from our loss. Some of that ache seems to ease when they look at me and smile. If anyone understands, I knew it would be y'all.
GTKY: Gosh, that is a hard one. I like lots of movies, and it totally depends on my mood. This week would be The Court Jester (an oldie but a goodie).

Hi ladies! Rusalka, I don't even know what day this is supposed to show up on ;] Whenever I see that you've posted it, I figure it's on time! It seems like every week or so.
Milestones, etc... G has learned to roll from her back to her tummy. Also, I posted about this below...she grabs my face and pulls me close for kisses. I have to avoid kisses for a few days though since I have strep :[ I also posted about this already...lol.
My favorite movie? I really like Big Fish. But favorite of all time? That's tough. There are some classic 80's flicks that I could watch over and over...Sixteen Candles, Goonies, The Breakfast Club. The Princess Bride is another long time favorite for me too. Sorry, that's a tough question for me to answer!

Hello ladies!
She is becoming more and more vocal, getting better at sitting up by herself almost!, and rolling like crazy! I see crawling very soon! And I better be home for it and not at work like most of her other firsts that DH got to see but not me!
Ahhh that's a hard one lol I love movies and like all different kinds so to pick one favorite is crazy to me! I will go with an oldie, Gone with the Wind!

SO. Any milestones, challenges, or funny stories this week?
We went to the outlet mall this weekend and decided to put LO in the actual stroller instead of snapping in the car seat. LO loved it! Unfortunately in Ann Taylor SO took LO out and held him for a while and put him back in the stroller without the seat belt...and he slid out onto the floor. Mom and baby cried together. Thankfully he wasn't hurt, but I felt terrible.
GTKY: Favorite movie(s) of all time?
Probably Shawshank Redemption.

I agree with PP's. I didn't even notice any shenanigans!
I don't think we've had any new milestones lately. We're just enjoying the smiles and laughs that we're getting more frequently from L. He's just growing and getting cuter every day!
GTKY: I love the 1970s version of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

:0 I'm glad LO is ok, babies are much more durable than we think. I'd have cried a bit too though!

Milestones: She's more alert and interactive this week but not anything specific that has stood out.
Challanges: Still just having troubles getting her to sleep not in bed with us at night (which I posted about above).
Funny stories: I decided to try putting her diaper on at a looser setting (we cloth diaper and her current diapers have snaps). I thought she had chubbed up a little and should be on the second setting instead of the tightest, that was a mistake and she ended up pooping out of her diaper and onto her clothes. After I changed her and cleaned her and myself both up we sat down to eat dinner and mh looks over at her and says she has poop in her hair. Apparently there had been some on her dress that got on her when I was taking her clothes off, poor little girl.
GTKY: I like too many movies to try to name one but I especially love comedies an cartoons because I'm mature like that.
Milestones: Nothing really new, still getting more comfortable with rolling over.
Challenges: Nap? No! I do not nap! 15 minutes, tops, that's all you get!
Funny stories: I made turkey pot pie last night and DS really wanted some. He was sitting on DH's lap, alternately flapping his arms and reaching for DH's plate, smacking his lips and squawking. Poor kid just wanted a little gravy to go with his breastmilk.
GTKY: Gosh, I have no idea. Depends on what I'm in the mood for. I have a somewhat embarrassing soft spot for The Fifth Element.

Well, I'm glad everyone is on as crazy a schedule as I am and doesn't mind when this gets posted
Even after all of our conversations about going with BLW, DH gave DD unsweetened applesauce the ONE day I was at work this past week. I had kind of a meltdown about it because I a) missed her first food and b) it's not BLW if you put a spoon in front of her face and she shows interest. She'll grab ANYTHING you put in front of her face.
So, we had a talk about it and I got over it (though obv. not completely), and I told DH that we're going to wait until 6 months to give her anything if he wants to be more assertive about it. I'm still hoping he just won't and will let her take her time, but it's not worth starting another fight over it when two out of the three "meals" she'll have most days will be with me.
Still waiting on DD to roll from her back to her tummy, and while she's got lots of upper body strength, I don't see her sitting up anytime soon. When I lie her on the floor for diaper free time she'll pivot herself in a complete circle just by rolling to her side, scooting her bum a little, and some sort of baby ninja trick kicking her legs.
I shot myself in the foot with this GTKY. I have too many favorites. Whenever I'm having a bad day Fanboys always picks me up. I also love Pirate Radio, and the BBC Pride & Prejudice.
GTKY: I'd have to say one of my favorite movies is Grease. As a kid my dad and I would turn up the songs really loud and sing them. Clearly I didn't fully understand alot of the content at 11 or 12 years old but I loved the music anyway.

GTKY: Favorite movie of all time is probably Grease. My favorite more current movie is Shutter Island.
I also loved Grease as a kid and now I think, would I feel comfortable letting DD watch this movie? No way!
