Ours just kind of got phased out. We started only using them for messy meals, and then eventually I just kind of realized we weren't using them at all and put them away.
My son is still using them even when he's not eating. I don't think he's gotten the whole keeping the drool in business just yet. He will swallow sometimes if we tell him "you're drooling" but other than that he never notices. =/
We use feeding bibs at every meal! I'd rather throw the bib in the wash than change his whole outfit right after he eats! He's not particularly messy but food will inevitably fall off his fork or spoon

Up until recently we have been using them at every meal. Lately DD has been fighting me about it and taking her bib off and throwing a fit.

We stopped around age 2 with DD unless it was a really messy meal. DS, however, may go to kindergarten with a bib! He can make the biggest mess out of even the cleanest meal!
