When we were there last week, we were told that we could include on our meds in on our loan. I told DH that I didn't think that it was true because if it was they would have included it in on the first IVF. I called today and the usual billing lady confirmed my belief and I snapped.
I've been so not pleased with them. I was bawling and snotting by the time I was done. But I feel better. Here's list of issues.
1. Did first SA and they said there was a problem. Did second SA and they said everything was OK. The day of ER we had 2 sperm.
2. I went in to be monitored. Drove 1.5 hours home and got a call to trigger. My RE gives you the trigger med at his office sooooo I had to drive 1.5 back to his office to get it.
3. I called and said we wanted DS as a back up. They say noooo problem Just get your AMH and CMV drawn. This was Oct 2012.
4. Still haven't called lab orders in to my local lab. So I call. I find out I need every thing redrawn because it's been over a year (It was a year in August).. including 3 day FSH. My 3 days falls on xmas eve, christmas, and a work day... so I skip it. I also find out I have to have another consult because of the use of DS.
5. We go to the RE, Jan 9. I tell them I haven't had my labs drawn for above reasons.. They say no problem, we will do it today. Labs drawn.
6. The next day I get a call asking when I am going to get my labs drawn. WTF!!!! I say you drew them yesterday, seriously the same nurse I'm on the phone with. She says whoops we didn't draw your AMH... You were getting that done somewhere else. Grrrrr... I tell her the whole 3 days FSH and Christmas story. She says I forgot to call you, You don't need 3 day labs.
They want this all in writing. Great, now my office will hate me and I jusr drained my retirement for this kind of care.

4 IUIs with Clomid, Letrozole, and Menopur. All BFN.
9/12: lap / hysteroscopy: found and removed mild endometriosis, cervical polyp, and 2 para-tubular cysts

I have a very sudden and serious urge to throat bish slap punch them right in their money makers. WTH seriously, the stories I have been hearing lately of the care from these Re is blowing my mind.

I'm sorry you have to go through all this. RE's are supposed to help IF, not make it worse.

I am sorry you are dealing with this.
Did you go to my RE's office? Seriously, I wonder if we went to the same place because this is some of the incompetent crap that I dealt with. One time, when I expressed concern that my IUI was not being timed correctly with my O (because the clinic insisted on using OPK's to time IUI instead of blood work), I had a nurse tell me it didn't matter if I O'd two days or more before the IUI because "the egg lives for 3 or 4 days after you ovulate" and I could still get pregnant from an IUI done several days after I O'd. What?!?!!!
And I am still dealing with the financial fall out from their incompetence (telling me things were covered by insurance that weren't and then refusing to be of any help in appealing denials with the insurance) a year-and-a-half later to the tune of thousands of dollars. And, what is more, the insurance company has said that all of this could be resolved with a letter from my RE, but despite numerous requests and being told he would give me one, I still have not received it.
Is there any way at all that you can get your money back and go elsewhere? You don't need this stress right now.

I'm sorry you're going through this. IF can be so incredibly frustrating and even the very best clinics can get on people's nerves.

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal
Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

Holy incompetence!!! I ran from my last RE's office for much less than that! Any options to leave and start fresh somewhere else??? With all the time, energy, emotions and money invested into this, I would expect more from them.
You deserve better! Hope you figure it out!

Cancelled mid-cycle due to high P4 levels early on.
OCPs again for IVF 2.5 mid-March. IVF 2.5 transferred two "gorgeous" 5-day blasts and BFFN. Even REI is baffled
On indefinite hold until a huge stroke of serendipity led me to IVF 3 May 2014
Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!
