I have not used them. But, my hairdresser swears by them. She says they work better than tylenol. Not sure of the age...are there any guidelines on the package?
I don't use the actual teething tablets, but I use the teething/irritability homeopathic in the Hyland's Kids Kit. I think it's pretty similar. They work great and can be used at any age.

No age on the package. Funny enough, my hairdresser is the one who got them for me! :]
We use them when his teething gets really bad. I know there is some controversy re: teething tablets and Belladonna but I've done my fair share of reading and feel comfortable using them when he needs them badly. They seem to help.

We use them for our DS when his teething gets really bad. We've only had to use them twice. But they appear to work. Usually chewing on a cold washcloth helps our LO quite a bit.
I'll also throw out that 4 month olds are jerks and most of them aren't teething. Everyone thinks they are, but then it's 4 more months until teeth. A few might be, but most just figure out how to chew on their hands and are generally cranky.
we use them when they seem to be in pain from teething, my LOs like them and always want more than the 2-3 I give them LOL I only do 3 tops at a time but they seem to take the edge off for them for a while. we've been using them since they were 6 or 7mths but would have sooner had I known about them

It's the only way we survived teething. We would give tylenol or advil on particularly bad nights, but the tabs provided immediate comfort. 3 tabs before bed, then as needed throughout the night if she woke up - she loved them so much that she would bring us the box when her mouth was bugging her during the day and say "Hurt. Tabs please."
We always bought multiple bottles when we found them because we were terrified that they'd go off the market again LOL.
Honestly, I love them. Those combined with the raw baltic amber necklaces (google it for reduction in teething pain) have been the best thing ever. My LO was cutting four teeth at one time and did not have a cranky (clingy is another matter) day the entire time. They are so much easier on the kid than the gel methods, in my opinion, and even then, I've never seen anything so quick/wonderful as Hylands.
