First Injection Down!!
Did my first Gonal-f injection tonight (75IU), well, actually my husband did...I can't handle a needle! Excited to see how things go this round!! The gonal-f pen is a little different from the Follistim pen. My H was concerned because he didn't feel like the injection button went down all the way...but, I told him because it stopped clicking then it must have all went in...has anyone else had this scare with the gonal-f pen??
Trying not to get my hopes up too much because I have been this route with another RE (Clomid CD3-7) and first injection at 75IUs, but we have more time to adjust the dosage this time so that keeps me hopeful! Just wanted to share my excitement 
Me: 27 DH: 28 Off BC 11/11/11
DH SA = High count, normal mobility and low morphology (15%)
March 2012: Provera and Clomid 50mg....BFN**
April 2012: Provera and Clomid 100mg.....BFN**
November 2012 (w/ RE): Prometrium and Clomid 50mg CD 3-7......no response, Follistim 150IU CD11 and 75IU CD13 w/ Ovidrel and TI.....cycle cancelled due to no response to Follistim injectables.**
January 2013 (w/RE): Provera, Clomid 50mg CD 3-7, Gonal-F, Ovidrel and IUI...???
HSG Test: Clear

Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
First RE appt 1/10/2013
Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!
Good luck! I take my first Gonal F next week (god willing) on Monday. Crazy how IF can make you excited for things like getting your period, shoving a camera up your crotch, and getting stabbed with a needle!

I felt the same way, since the plunger doesn't touch the top, but I kept pushing and it wasn't clicking anymore, so I figured it was done!

YaY congrats! My husband and I felt the same way after out first dose. A little came out of the injection site so I was freaked out but everything was fine!
My h says the trigger doesn't really "go down" but just as long as it clicks your fine!
