Good luck guys!! Fingers crossed that you guys get asking price.
DH and I just decided to get the house in showing condition and list within then next few months. I am so stoked.
We're going to start chatting with a few realtor friends a little farther North to see what they can find us in our price range with all of our "must-haves."

It was good. We had a lot of traffic. One couple was actually interested and gave our realtor their realtors name and number. They're going to chat. Hopefully we will get a second showing.

Crossing my fingers for you guys!!!
Thanks!! I'm thinking it will sell soon. There was nothing I wanted to do less than clean the house today, popping the balloons I put on Liam's door wasn't fun. But, open houses are easier than a bunch of showings. We're going to have them as often as possible until it sells. Also, H was working today so I cleaned solo while parenting. Our babysitter came by for the last hour of cleaning and took the boys for a walk. So, I got to pick up toys, vaccuum and mop in peace.
I'm exhausted.

On the plus side, you have a clean house, so you can take that off your to-do list for today But seriously, I hope Mr Rachey knows just how much effort you put in yesterday. Preparing for a showing with 2 wee ones to look after is quite a feat. You deserve a cake
I agree that open house showings are easier to manage. Also, not sure if I'm in the minority here, but when we first started looking to buy 4.5 years ago, we would only go to open houses because we didn't want to waste anyone's time by scheduling private showings. We ended up falling in love with this condo at an open house. All this to say I think open house showings are definitely worth it!

We always try and go to open houses when we want to see a home. Our main issue is that with H's schedule, we can't always make that happen. We have a house in mind. We're thinking of making the next step since we've had so much interest in our house, but I don't want to be under a bridge loan.

Well you know how the saying goes: "Nothing says thank you like dollars in the waist band" Or something like that
