"This is very good"

I have to share a cute/funny story...

I took DD1 to run errands yesterday morning while DD2 napped. When we got back, DH was just finishing preparing lunch. I brought DD1 her plate, and she exclaimed "Thank you Papa for the macaroni".

We thought that was really cute and sweet of her. Then a few bites into her meal, she went "This is VERY GOOD macaroni, Papa".

This was the first time she spontaneously complimented us on her food. Turns out we were eating Kraft Dinner Mac and Cheese.

I guess that tells you a lot about my cooking. lol

Seriously, Hank hates mac & cheese... what kind of childhood can he possibly have if he grows up hating mac & cheese. We'll give it another go every once in awhile to see if his taste changes.

Add Sophia to the hate list. Sometimes she will choke it down but it's certainly not her fave. Mha, she's soooo cute! Mac n cheese IS very good.

In fact, we don't even call it mac n cheese. We just call it Kraft (or Kraft Dinner) and everyone just knows what you're talking about

Oh and for the record, I LOVE KD myself - I just wish my kid would compliment me on my actual cooking. lol
