Is a rash an effect of the 15 month shots? H got her shots last Monday and woke up this morning with a rash on her upper body. I don't think it is from the shots but I can't think of anything else it would be from. A call to the pedi has been made.
Ya know, come to think of it, E has little bumps on her torso (no redness) after her shots too, but I thought it was just dry skin and didn't attribute it to shots.
Is it red and bumpy or just bumpy?
She does still have a ring around one injection site caused by a reaction to the adhesive on the bandaid.
Was the MMR one of the shots LO got? Pedi told us with that one, a rash could occur up to 14 days later. As long as there's no fever present, everything should be fine.
Pedi thinks it was an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin she was on for an ear infection. We changed antibiotics and put her on a steroid for the allergic reaction, because it was pretty severe. I didn't even think about the amoxicillin because she has taken that for ear infections in the past.
