What are you and your DH/SO like together as a pair? Are you both quiet and reserved, mushy and romantic, goofy and silly? Or opposites?

DH and I are similar in our sense of humor. We like to joke and poke fun at each other all the time. Sometimes he'll say things to me in public that people think I'd want to punch him over, but it's just an inside jokes between us.

The opposites are more apparent though I'd say. He's WAY more silly and I'm more serious. I'm a neat freak and he's a slob (he didn't know how to properly fold a shirt until he joined the military - no lie). I want things done now and he could just put them off forever, we'd be in big trouble if it was his job to pay bills. I'm very social where he gets anxious around lots of people and prefers to stay home with his video games. So there are a LOT of differences between us and sometimes he's like living with a giant man-child. Even the baby knows Daddy is for playtime, and Mommy is for everything else (lol) but we love him anyway :) .

    My husband and I are both silly.  We have the same sense of humor and have very sarcastic tendencies.  So people might think we are being mean to each other, but it is all in good fun.  And neither one of us gets our feelings hurt. Most of the time. :) We have alot of opposites too.  He is laid back, I'm a control freak.  He is a slob, I'm neat.  He is really relaxed with whatever DS does, and I am the one that keeps everything together.  :) It works!  Going on 3 years married and 7 years together.  It's amazing how time flies.

    DH and I are similar in our values and views on many things. We are both introverts and would love to be with a small crowd as opposed to a large crowd.

    Our differences: he is a pessimist and I'm the optimist. He loves the outdoors while I love to snuggle up on the couch with a good book. He has the street smarts and I have the book smarts.

    But together, we work well. We both make up for what the other lacks and we truly are each others better half.

    DH is laid back and I am a control freak.DH loves sports, and I like them but I don't to watch them all the time. I am more into the news, what's going on in the world, reading online, etc.  We joke around with each other a lot. Since having DS we are more partners and strong. Wish we had more time for just us, but we make it work. We both have qualities that the other doesn't which helps even us both out. May will be 3 years of marriage but we have been together for 6 years now. Still strong <3

    We are opposites for sure. DH is a major slob, I'm a clean freak. He is laid back, I'm not so much. He is pessimistic, I'm opptimistic. He's a procrastinator, and I like to get things done right away. You get the point. I've always said he's the calm to my chaos. I like to think we balance each other out.
