Anyone find one that isn't totally constipating?

  • I take Feosol and don't think they are too bad. I'm actually more stopped up when I don't take them.

  • I have the slow release, generic kind from CVS and haven't had any issues

  • I haven't had problems with Repliva, but it's a script thanks to my super low iron!
  • For the past week I've been taking one 25mg pill made by Countrylife and also two doses of Floridix Florivital a day.  I haven't had any problems yet, but this is only 45mg of iron.  The Floridix is a liquid that boasts about its non-constipating properties.

  • Nope! I'm in the same boat as you. My doc actually recommended I not bother with it, but at my appt in a couple days we'll have to talk about that. I stopped taking my prenatal for digestive reasons, so I'll need to find an alternative and hopefully one that isn't the same way!

  • I was put on food based iron since I have IBS and can't tolerate the regualr kind even in prenatals.  I was told to take Blood builder by megafoods which is sold at whole foods.  It has been better but it does still upset my stomach slightly (no constipation though).
