What LD will send home

I'm trying to figure out what all we should take for DS. I know the hospital will send home some items like diapers, some all purpose burp/swaddle blankets, paci. But not sure what else. What will he wear while at the hospital? I have his take home outfit but don't want to pack to much in case things get forgotten. Any ideas???

    With dd they told us to clean out the little bassinet drawer...so a hat, diapers, wipes, a comb, nose suction, recieving blanket.  I didn't bring any other clothes for her except her takehome outfit and that was just fine.  You will want a blanket for the carseat and a paci if you will give one and don't want lo hooked on that huge one they use in the hospital (they do sell them, but they're huge!)

    It might depend hospital to hospital, but we got...the extra diapers, wipes, ad ointment, a blanket we took two, bulb aspirator, hat, and s bunch of stuff to help me heal. They provided shirts for the baby to wear...so we only took a going home outfit.

    Like PP mentioned I think it depends on the hospital. With DS we brought home diapers, wipes, a bunch of Similac ( was BF but they supplemented him one night), aspirators, hat and paci. They also gave me a bunch of blankets and the clothes he was wearing but I opted not to take them since he had an OVERLOAD of things back home. I also got sent home with goodies, extra mesh undies, pads, those pee pad things that look like they're for dogs lol and a bunch of other things I can't remember. When I took the tour they said we didn't need to bring anything as they supply it all but we were encouraged to bring our own stuff if picky. I ended up packing everything for him and used nothing but his homecoming outfit!

    I took clothes and a couple of blankets for DS, as well as a hat.  They provided diapers, wipes, and pads/mesh undies for mom.  They sent us home with an extra bag of diapers and a nasal aspirator, as well as a tiny travel size bottle of baby lotion.  They also provided receiving blankets while you were there (not to take home), but they were scratchy and I'm glad I took my own.
