What would go good with mini cupcakes for a 1st birthday party?

I am trying to figure out what would go good with mini cupcakes at my daughter's 1st birthday party.  We are having it at a cupcake place party room on a Sunday from 2:00pm-4:00pm.  I am still trying to think about theme--like cupcakes, little birdie/chic, flowers, and hearts.  And Safeway had these plastic cups/plates that had hearts/cupcakes for Valentine's Day, so I thought that would be a cute party favor.  

I was thinking Jamba Juice, but then that might be expensive--and I may not know exactly what drink to get for everyone.  I even thought about a tray of sandwiches --like Jimmy Johns.  Or I could even just try to find fruit trays or other snacks at Whole Foods Market.  I really wish there was a Jason's Deli in Seattle, but there is not a location here (I am from Oklahoma).

    Are you looking to serve a meal or just snacky things?  I'd go all kinds of things mini.  Mini sandwiches, mini quiches.  The 2:00 - 4:00 timeframe wouldn't have me thinking that I'd get a lot of food, so as a guest, I wouldn't expect much of a meal.

    Fruit salad or fruit kabobs, crackers & cheese... Light apps since people don't usually eat around that time.
