Remember we've heard about how August 2013 already started several FB groups? Well, one has already had major drama.

ETA: I know it's not quite "entertainment" - although some of their comments certainly are laughable ("we know each other so well, all 150 of us, after 2 months").

I was just coming over here to post about this! I was out all day so I'm just catching up on all the craziness now. I knew something was bound to happen because they have 4!?!? Facebook groups. 1 regular, 1 puppies and rainbows, 1 for reasons I don't understand or care about and 1 for the multiple mommas. I maintain that Facebook groups are a bad idea whenever, but especially this early on in pregnancy and getting to know everyone.

I feel so badly for the woman who lost her baby and then had to deal with that FB nonsense. And I can't believe they're still defending it instead of just apologizing and shutting up.

It's pretty shameful and disgusting that they can't see past their "post rule" and offer condolences and some understanding to a woman going through something terrible. My heart hurts for her.

Seriously. I came across it because it was linked on my new BMB as proof for why so many of us were saying it's too early to start a FB group.

Here's my 2 cents on the FB. It's a private Facebook group not an open democratic forum. I agree the call out of not posting wasn't the best idea and of course the 5 post thing is kind of lame but its up to the group administrator to decide who is in the group and how that's determined. No one who doesn't like the rules has to post there. And if you turn off notifications of a group you wouldn't see yourself tagged so the point is moot anyway. Sure they're douches but they own the group so they get to decide the douche factor. That's the beauty of TB, no one is technically above anyone else. Except of course for the gold posters.
