Rosie Pope Maternity Dress (Lina, especially looking for your input!)

You're familiar with her stuff and you seem to have pretty cute style. My mom is getting re-married on Feb 18 and wanted my sister and me to wear pretty casual dresses of any kind that we want. I have sent this to her and she likes it but I wanted to get more opinions before I spend the $$. I think I'm going to go with this one. Too busy? Or bright? WDYT?

I tried this on in the store! It was cute but I didn't end up getting it. My thoughts on it were that I was going to possibly add a belt, and that I was going to have it hemmed a bit (but I'm only 5'1)

I love the dress and love the floral design, but I am not crazy about this look for a wedding and really not 100% in love with this dress period. Let me look at what she has....do you want long sleeve? Are you buying from the store/site or gilt?

ETA If I did choose this dress...I would pair it with a simple nude/blush pump....tell me more about the wedding...type of event may help with my choice for you too. Sorry I am OCD! LOL

Hampton Tunic on Gilt but XS or S on their site only available not sure your size

they have it in black print in M unless you don't want to wear any black to the wedding

It would make it easier for me to choose my fave choice for you if I know what size you are buying so I can see what they have available...unless you want to pay more and buy through their site, but you have so many choices n gilt at cheaper prices if it were me I would find something here to make it work.

this is simple again black (on Gilt only in XL so again, don't know your size) but it would be nice dressed up with some fun jewelry in coral or turquoise (vs sparkly jewels making it more formal if it is a day/casual look you are going for)

they have that hampton tunic in solid black S M L XL , purple L XL and teal S M L XL which could work too...if you get this solid one, I would find a pretty belt and make it an umpire look...super cute!

this is super cute...short sleeve though and XS only but I would wear it with gold shoes and maybe find a gold belt

saw this on their site and could work if you would be ok wearing black....I would wear it with a nice shawl in a pretty color (pink, coral, turquoise....etc) and if you can find a cute belt to even better.

Thanks for the input!! Lina, it's a really informal daytime wedding, small... 40ish people. We are to wear a pink/coral color or gray. I'm an XS and can't go up (pre pregnancy 00p) I saw it on Gilt. I'll check out all the options! I am open to any kind of sleeve. Mom loves the print dress but doesn't want me to spend $100 but I have no problem with it. Thank you thank you!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rosie Pope. I have this dress and get lots of compliments on it! I wear it with pink heels to spice it up or nude heels to work. The material is soft and the fact that the dress is lined gives it a more structured fit.

I also have the hampton tunic that was recommended. It is a lovely dress but I have two problems with it that I would warn you about for a wedding event - First, it is not lined, while the white material is thick enough that it is not see through, it is very flimsy. And in part because of the material and I think exacerbated by the fact that it is not lined, it wrinkles VERY easily and severely. I am talking finish the commute and you already look wrinkled. So I have a concern for you about photographs through the course of an event unless you are going to be statuesque the whole time.

I think people are just googling topics that apply to them (in this case, probably Rosie Pope maternity dress), and not knowing how forums work, create an account and post a response. That's my best guess. It's really weird. That's how SPAM gets on this board sometimes too.
