Adiah's got some congestion in the back of her nose and throat that the snot sucker wont touch. I've been hesitant to use a saline spray for whatever reason but after comparing the options and ingredients at Target I got this one:
Arm & Hammer Simply Saline
It comes in a "Baby" version but it's the exact same thing.
I tested it on myself to make sure it wasn't an overwhelming flow or wouldn't burn as some saline sprays have done to me in the past. It was quite pleasant in fact (I feel a little ridiculous writing this but whatever.).
I used it on her and it was no big deal. It was super easy to dispense and because it's a mist it didn't go down her throat quickly and catch her off guard and her panic or choke as I thought may happen. I've used it a few times now.
It's an unlikely baby product, but I really like it's design for baby congestion so I figured I'd write a PSA.
A congestion product ?: What's the consensus on Baby Vicks?
Re: PSA: congestion/saline spray
I also didn't notice a huge difference with Baby Vicks. I agree with pp, a steamy bathroom works wonders.
Darn, I guess I'll have to make another trip to Target! ;]

Thanks for the rec - the mist seems like it'd be a lot better than a spray. I've always used Ayr, since that's the brand I've always used for myself.
I also use Little Remedies baby rub & J&J vapor bath as part of our treatment for colds & congestion.
Thanks for the other thoughts and suggestions ladies. I am doing steamy bathroom baths with her.
I don't think she's sick, I think it's reflux/allergy related. So I'm not really sure if these things will help but I'm giving them a go bc it just got bad enough she's not wanting to latch.
