I run the kids' area for a 5k every summer. This is my third summer in this area. Last year we made harmonicas at our craft table with Popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and straws. Any ideas for what I should do this year? We also have games set out: bean bag toss, parachutes, balls, hula hoops, bubble wands, and if we're lucky, a face painter or balloon artist. I'm struggling with the craft table though. I want something cheap and easy for the kids to do. The funds for this come from my pocket since it's a non profit for melanoma awareness/education/research, but we do have a sponsor this year, so I'm hoping they'll cover some of it.
Extra points for crafts and/or games that incorporate sun safety!
Oh, I'll have about 400 kids signed up minimum ... between the ages of 3 and 12ish.
TIA
Re: Help needed: Kids Crafts/Games
These are really cheap and my kids liked playing with them

Check out oriental trading or U.S. toy company websites for cheap crafts.
You could also paint/make pet rocks or bead necklaces.

How about making sun visors? https://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/paper-hats2.htm
That link shows a very feminine version, but you could get gender neutral accessories for decorating.
