When did you stop following the 4 day wait rule? For instance, mixed dinners. If my son hasn't had either food yet, but hasn't had any issues with anything after a month of solids. Can I give him these? Thanks in advance!
It's probably fine. The rule is more to make things easier for you that for him. Because if he did have a reaction to a new food, and he's only had one thing the last few days, you know exactly what the trigger was.
If you give him a combo, and he reacts, you'll just have to try each individual element.
Nevermind me, I'm too distracted by my mini-carrots to think properly

I'm only really careful about spacing foods that I think a lot of people are allergic to. So when it was apples, bananas, and strawberries, I made sure he was okay with apples and bananas, because I know a lot of people with strawberry allergies. When it's foods that aren't as allergy-prone (chicken noodle with veggies) I don't worry about individually introducing.

I take this general strategy. I left the window for strawberries, mango, eggplant. I will also leave it for the spices. But, I introduced green beans and peas back to back. I introduces sweet potato and apples together.
We have no allergies in my family. I've given her about 12 different foods so far and she's been fine with all of them.
