  Yes Ashley has a fever right now. She started out with a stuffy nose then a few hours ago she got a low grade fever. She has been at around 99.8-100 for the past few hours. Hopefully it doesnt go higher.

  Yes my DD has had 2 colds, 2 fevers. The first was in MOTN of course and at just over 8 weeks old. We took her to the children's hospital ER. They did a complete work up because of her age (and she didn't have her 1st shots yet) including blood, urine, mucus samples along with x-rays. She was fine and they said it was viral. She threw up the red colored tylenol so they had to do suppositories. We give the dye-free kind now because she can't seem to stomach the red one. The second fever was 3 weeks ago and lasted less than a day followed by a cold. She got these from my germ-magnet son, but since she started daycare 2 1/2 weeks ago I'm sure there's more to come! I hope your baby feels better!!

  Did you try Tylenol before calling the doctor? I wouldn't worry unless the fever went up after Tylenol, persisted for over 24 hours or if baby is not eating. LO had a fever of 103 at 9 weeks that wasn't responding to Tylenol we brought him into the ER and they did the full work up. It was not fun. He had a cold and all we could do was give him tylenol.

  D is 15 weeks and had a fever of 99101 last week after just 3 days in daycare. Tylenol and lots of cuddles. Of course now I have what he had:

  The doctor wasn't overly concerned.  He checked her ears, made sure she was breathing well and just told DH to give her tylenol.  Funny enough she had no fever when she was at the doctor's office.  Well it came back around 2am, so we gave her tylenol.  she had no fever Saturday, or today and she's just fussy today and congested.  I swear, never a dull moment!!!!

  DD got a virus from daycare her first week (most like DC, can't confirm obviously). She was running a fever of 100-100.5 on and off for 4 days last week but is better now. We took her to the doctor the second day and they confirmed it was just a virus and we could give her baby Tylenol to make her comfortable but not much more to do beyond wait it out.
