I have a minor obsession with him that I'm apparently passing on to Evan. My alarm went off this morning and played literally 2 seconds of his song "Home". I hear Evan from across the hall saying "Phillips on the radio! I saw him on TV!" He did see him on Ellen a few days ago too. Do your LOS have any favorite songs??

I love him sooooooo much! My friend's sister worked on his album and ended up sending it to me before it was even released. He's pretty amazing!

Funny you should ask if LO has a favorite song. Right now, I have this totally random mix of song on a cd in the car. M makes me stop on all the poppy girly songs, passing by all the rest. Think Kelly Clarkson, Rhianna, and Beyonce. Lol.

I went to a school with a different guy also named Phillip Phillips (who strangely also sang in a band...) I can't believe two sets of parents in the world would give their child that weird name.

My kid loves the kids songs, but dances to just about any music. Favorites are If you're Happy and You Know It and ABCs. We listen to the Christian music station a lot in the car simply because I know I won't have to worry about muting it for bad words.

Wow. Yeah, there are advertisements for all those things! Although much less for cigarrettes in the past years, more about the health risks. There are swear words, although they usually bleep out the "f" word. Also, I really just don't want him exposed just yet to the sexual undertones of many songs on the radio. I don't think it's cute when little kids walk around singing songs about how "sexy" something or someone is... We don't really listen to a lot of music anymore inside the house, so the car is the only place he hears it. DH and I are overjoyed when we can go somewhere by ourselves so we can listen to "our music"!

Edit: I don't know anything about Phillip Phillips or his music OP! I'll have to listen to him! Wasn't he on American Idol or something? I'm clueless.

Ours don't here, but we listen to country and top 40 so I don't know if that matters. The only bad thing I've come across is Bruno mars' song that says your sex takes me to paradise.

Really??

I was in Denmark about 7 years ago and I remember seeing things that I thought were more provocative than what Americans advertise. For example when walking by HM there were tshirts in the window with the f word on them and while waiting for the Metro we took a picture of a sign advertising some type of liquor, jagermeister maybe, that showed a womens hard nipples through a slinky dress.

I guess I always thought your country was a little more free with swearing and expression in that way.

Oh wait, maybe your not from Denmark. I'm mobile and can't see siggys so ignore me if your not from Denmark. Lol

Hazel loves to go through my music for dance class on my iPhone. One day she discovered Adele's Rumor Has It and now she knows how to find that exact song and plays it over and over.

At the beginning when she sings "ooooh" a bunch of times hazel thinks it says "moo". She loves a good cow song. lol

I just can't past the fact that a family named Phillips named their kid Phillip. That's like the one name out of a billion that should have been on the no list.

Wow. :) Yeah, there are advertisements for all those things! Although much less for cigarrettes in the past years, more about the health risks. He's awesome! Sounds kind of like Dave Matthews...folky sounding like Mumford and sons.
