Ready for another??

Just curious as to when you ladies wanted to start trying for another baby?

I had a c-section, so my OB recommended that I wait until LO is at least a year old in order to give my body a chance to fully heal before TTC again. We'll probably get started then. I would've preferred to have kids 3 years apart, but with my age (32, will be 33 in April) and fertility problems we're going to try sooner rather than later.

We are done...DH really needs to get a V!!! I took a pregnancy test the other day just to make sure I wasn't!!

I want to try now - but DH says we need to wait until DD is 1. Then I will stop taking BC and trying - So hopefully I will get knocked up early 2014!

IF we decide to have another, we'll have to hold off until we pay off the cars and get a bigger house. I'm not sure I want to still be having babies in my mid 30s. So we haven't really decided if we're going to or not. If we were going to have more, I'd want to start TTC again in March when doc said we could.

I may get baby fever real soon but I'm so not ready for another baby. Our goal is a spring or summer 2016 baby. The girls will be roughly 3.5 and 5.5. E was still so dependent when the baby was born that I just feel a slightly larger age gap will be better for my sanity.

I ebf but have gotten 2 pp periods. Our boys are 3.5 years apart, and dh is 37. Soooo, basically i guess we are ttc now? Not that we ever have the time to TRY.

My ob recommended waiting a year, but said since im HR and will be closely monitored anyways, that its ok to start.

I would imagine that it will take a while to get pg though, eventhough we got pg on the first try with both boys, but i wasnt bfing then. I was hoping for irish twins, and unless i get pg fast and have another preemie, that ship will have sailed...

We want them to be around 1.5 or 2.5 years apart so either start this summer or next.

This. We've discussed having my IUD removed when she's roughly 1 1/2. We'll see how we are financially at that point, we may wait until 2.

DS1 and DS2 are 16.5 months apart, and it is really, really hard. It sounds great to have them close together, but unless you have A LOT of help, I really don't think it's a good idea. It's much harder than I had thought it would be. We definitely want another, but I'd like DS2 to be at least 2 by then. I'm 30 and DH is 42 though, so I don't want to wait too long.

DH is not on board with another, he has struggled a lot with the adjustment, so we may be done. If it were only my choice I would like at least one more before I turn 35. So we have about 3 years to see if he feels differently before TTC again. A lot can happen in 3 years, so I'm not ruling it out 3 months into parenthood.

I want to try again this summer. But DH is starting school is August, so we will be waiting 2 years for him to graduate. I'm hoping to convince him to try his last year so we will have the baby just after graduation. I don't want the kids to be very far apart if we can help it. I got KU on the first try so hopefully it will work that way again next time.

I would like 3 to 4 years between and we need to be more financially stable. Hoping we'll both have better jobs and a bigger house. And I don't want 2 in diapers.

If we try for a 3rd, which we probably will, it'll be after LO is 2.5.

My boys are 28 months apart so I'd prefer more time in between

#2 and #3.

We are done. the boys are almost 4 years apart. It is nice because DS1 is pretty independant and can help gets things and understands that i need to feed and put the baby to bed - most the time. He is in preschool but on the days he is home he is content to play and hang not needing to be on the go like when he was younger.

We plan to have another in about 2 years. My girls are 8 and 10 and although they hate eachother at this moment, for the most part they're very close and always have eachother to play with. I want that for Jacob, too. So we will try again in the next year.

We originally wanted three babies, two at least. I had no intention of discussing having another one so soon, but then the company that bought out our little company offers 3 months of paid maternity leave. So, suddenly I'm considering having another one pretty soon since I don't anticipate staying with this company too long. But...that's the only reason part of me is considering it. The rest of me thinks I'm nuts.

We'll see...still, a paid 3 month vacation seems pretty rad. Even if my "vacation" is nothing more than sitting at home wearing pajama pants all day, not getting any sleep, and getting screamed at.

I'd love to have another, but I need to work 600hrs before I'm eligible for mat leave again. I go back to work in October, so I think we'll start trying in early 2014. That way I can make sure I have the hours needed to be eligible.
