Things that would be awesome

Things that would be awesome, but will probably never happen:

1. "Test drive" a prospective new home - that way, you'll either wake up going, "Woohoo! can't wait to move in!" or "Ugh...let's move on." I'm completely nervous about moving into our house - afraid I'll hate it after one night.

Anyone else doing any wishful thinking?

    Test driving a home. I would love that!

    The same should go with a job. You give it a try, and if you don't like it, you can go back to your old job as if nothing ever happened. lol

    Another thing that would be awesome would be a "baby reader" - a machine that would instantly tell you what is wrong with your baby. DD2 spiked a fever for apparently no reason today, so now I'm worried her ear infection is creeping its way back in. Of course, there' sno way of knowing for sure except wait and see.

    A magic wand would be pretty neat, too.

    It would also be awesome to go back in time to when we chose our house, and review the choices with the insight as to what is preferable in layout/design to having small children.  I loved our house when we bought it - and I still like it a lot - but there are so many things that I didn't even think to consider before DD was born.

    Also, haircuts - I wish you could go back to your old 'do if the cut didn't work out.

    My last haircut was totally botched and I had to go back twice to get it fixed. Now I REALLY need another, and I'm too nervous to go.
