Are you EP' ing or BF' ing and pumping? I pump at work but EBF mornings, evenings and weekends. I only pump my morning pump after LO eats on weekends. My other pumps are replaced by LO eating. I' 've not had any supply issues yet.
I did pump once a day early in the morning on the weekends during DS's first nap. It really helped me to not stress as much on lower output days at work because I had that little extra from the weekend to help even everything out.
With DS, I always pumped when I was away from him but nursed directly when we were together. I never had a problem with supply. I plan to do the same for DD this time around as well.
Not if you are with baby on the weekends. Baby will stimulate your supply better than the pump. So breastfeed directly whenever you have the chance - ie all weekend long. But given your supply issues, I would also pump after feedings whenever you can on the weekend, to try to increase your supply.
THIS. Due to your supply issues I would feed LO directly and then pump afterward to help boost your supply during the week.
I don't except for the night time session bc DH gives him a nightly bottle. I haven't noticed any change in my supply with BFing and not pumping over the weekends.
