...or anyone else who pumps. How frequently are you pumping at work? Do you just pick specific times and that's it or do every so many hours? I just went back to work this week and some days I can get 3 times a day in and others 2 times. I always BF DD in the morning before I go into work and right away when I get home?

I'm student teaching I pump once in the morning as soon as I get out of bed. I pump once at school during lunch an then once at night. This gives me enough for the next day. I have a freezer stash and on Fridays I freeze whatever I pump. I put the pump away for the weekend and solely breastfeed.
Sometimes dd comes home with a bottle still in cooler just depends how much she sleeps. I roll that over to the next day and save extras for if Dh needs it while I work out or when I am at night school

I Ep'd for DS and went back to work at 5 months(he had latch issues) I am going to be honest, teaching killed my supply. my lunch and special were only 35 minutes apart from each other, so I would pump first thing in the morning, then at lunch around 11, then at the end of special at about 1215 and then couldn't again until about 4..with this schedule i didn't get to eat, so i woudl sometimes forgo the 11 pump to eat but it was NOT easy. Try to keep it up the best you can

I feed DD in the a.m. when she wakes. Then I pump when I get to work even though it may have only been an hour since I fed her. Then I pump during lunch and use a hands free pump bra so I can eat at the same time. Then I usually pump when school is out.I get home around 4:30 and feed her when she is ready - usually right away. Jam pumping a good bit and even have to freeze some occasionally. (And I don't have an over supply issue). I'm glad that I can do it but I feel like I get there early and stay after but never get anything done except pump.

I feed LO in the morning before I go to work and then pump if I have time after. I pump during my morning and afternoon breaks. My morning break is at the beginning of the morning so I can get by without pumping before work if I need to. Some days I will go home and feed her at lunch time, so then I don't have to pump the afternoon time because it is right after lunch. I usually pump more than she drinks during the day.

I pump in the AM after he eats, during lunch, and then after work if he isn't hungry. Otherwise I BF and then pump after work. I have been back for 3 wks and my supply hasn't been affected but I am trying to make sure I pump however much he eats during the day.

In the AM around 6, I pump one side and feed the other. She sttn and this is the only time I can do this. Otherwise she eats from both sides. I pump right when I get to work, which is just about an hour later. I drive to daycare and feed her at lunch, which is at 11 usually. I pump during my prep at 1:45. I then feed her wgen we get home just before 5. i get enough for two four ounce bottles with not a lot extra. I do the morning pump on weekends too which helps build my stash. It's hard but worth it. Hands free pumping bra is a godsend!!!

I pump when I get up, between 5:10 and 5:40 (I work in two different schools so depends on which one I'm at). Then I pump at work between 9:30 and 10. I pump again around 2:45. I pump again before bed. I have not noticed any changes to my supply at this point but I have always pumped (latch issues).

My friend is also a teacher and she pumps once in the middle of the night then BF before she leaves. She pumps right before kids come in and then at lunch or plan (they are close together so just depends on what she has going on). Then she pumps right after kids leave or she just waits to BF when she gets home. She has not had a great supply at all so I don't think she has noticed a difference.

I pump 3x at work - 9, 12, 3. I work 9 hour days and feed LO at 6 and then again at 6 in the evenings. I also pump at night before I go to bed and have a nice freezer stash. She is drinking 4 bottles a day and I am way ahead of her.

I think the most important thing is consistency. I am not a teacher but I do have a crazy schedule. I put these 3x into my schedule and that is that. I don't get too much work done during those times but oh well. The more you pump, the more you will probably increase/maintain your supply. If you do the same times every day, your body will expect it. Now, my boobs get all tingly at those times just looking at my pump because they know what is coming. Good luck!

I've been pumping while driving in, at lunch, and about half way on the drive to pick her up. It's only been a few days, but so far I am in the positive 1 to 3 oz/day
