It's been awhile...

I was just at Walgreens buying our organic formula. It's called 'earths best.' I was checking out and the cashier laughs and points at the name.

I ask what's so funny.

She then says 'oh...the name...I mean, it's not really earths best. It's just funny.'

I stare at her blankly not responding. I get where she is going here but I'm going to actually make her say it.

She then starts to get uncomfortable and says 'you know....because breast feeding is better...'

DIE.

I simply said that she should stick to just checking people out as opposed to making judgements and walked out the door.

Goodness.

Agree. That is crazy! I worked at Target as a teen and you just do not make comments on people's purchases.

I probably would have cried. Because I am THAT sensitive about using formula right now with DS's GI issues. I would hope that would have made her feel bad, but seeing she's clearly an idiot, it may not have registered with her.

I get that there is a huge push for BF'ing nowadays, but seriously ppl need to chillax! somehow we've forgoten that not all women can make it, or choose to do it for their own reasons. its not your child, just shut your mouth....

You should have pulled out the big guns: "well, that would be nice, but after beating cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy it was really hard to breast feed."

Just to make her feel absolutely disgusted with herself, as she should.
