  I have not seen the house hunters episode, but it is a bit unreal. Villas flats have marble granite floors and countertops. Both tend to be quite large. We live in a four bedroom, four bath plus maids quarter villa. We have a maid who cleans for us and cooks for us occasionally.
  
  I am a high school teacher, and my husband stays home with our daughters. We've been here for almost two years and may extend another year because the compensation is pretty nice.
  
  Women are treated better here in some cases. We get to go to the front of lines at banks, etc., have our own waiting rooms at doctor offices, and checkout lines at stores. We are expected to dress modestly, but it isn't too hard to make sure your shoulders are covered and wear knee length skirts shorts.
  
  The best part is almost everyone speaks English over 80 of the country is from somewhere else so although we live in a foreign country, communication is rarely an issue. The hardest part is the summer temperatures especially during Ramadan when most of the country fasts during daylight hours.
