Awesome. Our Rocking Chair Just Broke.

My son is usually down for the night by 7:30. 8 tops. We have wakings throughout the night, but I am used to those by now. Well, it is 9:43, my son is WIDE awake and has been since 7pm. And our glider just broke and by that I mean the seat seperated completely from the frame. So now I can't even try to lull him to sleep by rocking him. This sucks. We had actually had a whole week of half decent sleep up until last night, so I am already on edge. Not to mention we don't have the cash to splash on a new glider. We had bought this one used. I don't know what we are going to do. Did I mention this sucks?

    My son is close to 18, maybe 19 lbs. So I can only do that for so long. But even that doesn't always work. He likes snuggling in the chair.

    We don't have a glider or rocker. We used to rock her in our arms while sitting on the couch, hold her and sway, or push her back and forth in her stroller. Good luck!

    that sucks! I am so sorry - I would get another one if it was a big helper....I would swag back and forth on a couch, bc that would take less physical energy if I was tired....
