Mine has acted the same as before. My MW said she might hang around and get really annoying during the birth. Apparently they like the energy? She will be outside. :]

My cat didn't catch on until I was a little ways into my second trimester. Now he's my little cuddle buddy - which he never was before. Not sure if it has to do with pregnancy, but I'm not complaining!

My cats really haven't changed either. The one who cuddled with me still does and the one who ignored my existence except at breakfast and dinner time still does.

I do hold them to my uterus when they purr so I can get our kid to be a cat person before she even comes out of the womb

No. My cats didn't change how they act toward me during either of my pregnancies. Only crazy cat ladies say that.

My MIL's cat was the first one to know I was pregnant! She usually doesn't like to cuddle with anyone, but one day she was all of the sudden super lovey to me! Rubbing on me, kneading on me, purring, all snuggly and whatnot. I had been feeling kinda funny, and that's when I thought to myself "OMG, I must be pregnant!" LOL

That was like one or two weeks before my BFP, and she is still nicer to me now than she has ever been! She always purrs when she's around me.

Oh my gosh my cat wouldn't quit following me around when I became pregnant and she seemed to know that I was before I did. Before I was pregnant she'd never like to sleep in my bed with me and all of a sudden one day she refused to leave my side while I slept, it was adorable

I've noticed that my independant cat is cuddlier and my cuddly cat needs to be surgically removed a few times a day.

My shy cat won't leave me alone. He has always been very nervous and never comes out when anyone is around and now he won't leave me alone. He sleeps next to my head every night now and today for the first time ever he got on my belly and started giving me a kitty massage.

My husband's cat has hated me consistently since I first met him... being pregnant hasn't changed the cat at all.

I have one cat and he never really liked me much. He always liked my husband more. When I was pregnant with my LO my cat LOVED me. He would always come sit on my lap and purr and snuggle with me. He would almost never do that before. At first I didn't even realize it was because I was pregnant until I researched it. There was a definite change when I was pregnant. Now that I am not, hes back to not liking me again. lol

I've noticed a difference in mine. She was never that close with me and would keep her distance and snuggle with my husband. I noticed about 3 months ago she would get on my lap instead of his and would lay beside me on the couch. I would say in the past month she's become more clingy towards me and now follows me around the house, sleeps beside me all night and is always trying to lay either on or beside me on the couch.

I think she's making my dogs jealous!

I think my cat likes me less now because I don't let him lay on my stomach anymore LOL He's acted just the same as before. One of my dogs on the other hand loves cuddling my tummy now.

I would say mine got a little more snuggly now that I am pregnant. It only bugs me sometimes because she will lay right on the side of my belly and adds MORE weight! HA!
