I have had moments (and days) of feeling really dizzy and lightheaded during the entire pregnancy, but it started up again on Wed. and has gotten soooo much worse than I've ever felt before. Just a really horrible feeling of lightheadedness and like I am going to fall if I'm standing up or walking. It is to the point where I have to lay down much of the day and rest, because even just sitting at the computer, etc. can be really unpleasant. I started crying today over it, both because it has just gotten so bad, and also because I feel like this has been such a hard pregnancy for me and it feels like no matter what, every day something is hurting or causing me to feel sick in some way.

I will bring it up to my dr. if it doesn't go away soon; until then I'm just dealing with it the best I can and taking it easy at home. Just wondering if I am the only one who has had the dizziness THIS bad.

Re: SO Dizzy :( anyone else?
Have you been checked to see if you're anemic? It sounds like you may need to take an iron supplement, which is pretty common in pregnancy.
I would call the doctor if I were you. You shouldn't have to feel so crappy. I hope that your doctor can suggest something that will allow you to feel better!
It's a miserable feeling so I can't imagine the constant feel like you are going through. I would most definitely see if your doctor has any suggestions!
Yes, this.
I am anemic, was feeling all sorts of dizzy until I started to supplement with iron.Take it easy!
I have been having this every day at about 4pm. I heard that this is peak time for low blood sugar, so I am now trying to make sure to get a good snack in at 3pm and drink a few glasses of water. Seems to help... so far.
BTW, when it first started I tried adding an iron supplement for a few days and it didn't change anything except keep me up all night with extreme nausea.
Yes, had this a few weeks ago. Missed work for a week, I just couldn't stay moving. Turned out I was anemic (was with my first as well) but this was much worse. Dr. put me on iron supplements however it takes about a week to really notice the difference so she suggested I eat a red meat meal w/green veggies for the natural iron everyday to also help out. Also said to take the iron with an acidic juice like OJ for faster/better absorbtion (Other than hamburger I don't care for red meat so that was a force feed thing yuk!)
A few weeks later it's a whole new world. I notice it now if I forget to take the iron (I usually take it in the middle of the day) or if I notice I'm getting more tired I make burgers for dinner a couple days in a row. (Or for dinner and have left overs for lunch)
Hope you start feeling better!
